Looks like the big things that I needed to work on right away are the soil pH, Calcium, and Organic Matter. Those are what I'm working on this fall, so they have time to kick in by spring... Friday, October 17 View Page Hello Everyone, I'm a new grower and new member to BigPumpkins. I wanted to go ahead and start my New Grower Diary as I've already started my prep for the 2026 growing season with a soil test and some fall amendments to what's going to be my four main patches for next year. Each patch is roughly laid out to be 1,250 sq ft. Here's a pic of the initial till and clean up, where I grew a handful of small pumpkins this year.
