The larger pumpkin is in the process of being cut . It was one week older but the smaller pumpkin is in a much better place for movement later on . If the younger pumpkin aborts I'm done

It's been a while since I posted a diary here on BP and it's taking me a while to get caught up but loving it . One diary I love to read every word of is Matt Debacco . The man is a book of knowledge and can eat like a horse for a 150 pounder lol . I still can't believe he passed up on that restaurant for male pollen lol . Happy belated birthday Green Geene !!

Day 23 for The Dilldozer. Averaging 35 lbs a day now and as you can see the greenhouse will be full and fully terminated probably within the week as we are getting excellent weather now and the vines are really moving . Hoping for 50 lb days very soon

Day 31 for "The Dilldozer " The weather has not been great . Cloudy pretty much every day .Full sun would be nice . 4 secondaries left to terminate so hopefully this pumpkin shows me it has what it takes . As of today my gut tells me it doesn't but time will tell .

Stump and main is in excellent condition. Plant is in excellent condition. Only the secondary at the stem running and one tertiary to fill in that vacant spot before I terminate

Stem is flawless and no blossom end issues so far . My mind is boggled . The only thing I can think of is maybe the very cool nights and we have had lots of them

Day 40 for The Dilldozer. Still waiting for this one to do something but it is religiously averaging 30-33 pounds a day . Just shy of 900 lbs and hoping Aug weather cooperates. 2000 going into September would be awesome lol
