X.XX Greene, on the same plant as my previous X.XX Greene. Rather impressed. For whatever reason the plant is throwing megas left and right. I’m tempted to let them both grow to see what they end up at.

2222 Geinger x 2356.7 Mendi, 10 DAP. My plant is more or less written off as it wasn’t growing like I wanted. My fault, the soil where I planted it is pretty lacking. Regardless, looking forward to growing the cross next season.

Giant eggplant (5.6 Bennett). Curious as to how it’ll grow out with those lobes. So far they’re fused together.

5.6 Bennet eggplant. All lobes are fused at this point (to adds the stem end). Definitely a funny looking thing, and fun to grow.

2222 Geinger x 2356.7 Mendi estimates at 470 pounds. This is the plant I had written off earlier in the season. It’s probably around 150 square foot, the main split, haven’t buried any vines, something chewed the blossom end in two spots (they’ve healed but have dried Daconil on them), the stem area has growth splits and is leaking sap. Have to put a fan on that as I just cleaned it all up. Out of my three plants, this one is by far the healthiest plant wise.

7.95 Young harvested today. Can’t complain, the thing grew in the shape of a C and I haven’t had any BER issues this year. Still have a couple more that’ll hopefully keep growing. The weather has been rather up and down here… wet, then hot and humid and dry, then cool and wet and so on.

X.XX Greene mega. Found a total of four today. These are all on the same plant that produced my 4.95 a few weeks ago. The plant has thrown a total of six megas.

7.195 eggplant I weighed at the Vermont weighoff. It’s off the 5.6 Bennett. For now it’s the New York State record. Almost the highlight of my season.

Pretty much the smallest pumpkin I’ve grown (besides my 2022 150 square foot entry), but certainly the highlight of my season. 582.5 Palmer (600 something with the kiddos) 2069 Stelts x 2356.7 Mendi at the Vermont weighoff. Only one I brought to scale and can’t blame anything but myself. But my kids were thrilled. Hopefully have future weed pullers and growers here!

X.XX Greene is still growing. I have two set on the plant, not sure what they’ll end up at this late even with a heated hoop house and grow lights. The plant has leaf spot at this point, but has managed to throw a total of 15 megablossoms throughout the season. I took some cuttings from the plant a few weeks ago, we shall see if I can keep them alive this winter. Regardless, I will definitely be growing the X.XX Greene next year.

Another view of tomato number two on the X.XX Greene. Wish it had of come along two months ago. Oh well, I’m going to grow number one and two out and see where they end up. Again, this plant has thrown 15 megablossoms this season thus far; I will definitely be growing this seed next year.
