The basic idea is to obtain a three way hybrid: I and my friend Stefano Cutrupi we consider the 1989,5 Daletas (a 2145 McMullen remake) an hybrid (more or less); the idea is to cross an "hybrid" with a "pure line" genetically far. Aims: looking for more hybrid vigor and put some variability in modern AG crosses that became year by year genetically restricted. Dramatic effects of the long winter in Italy on our minds? Craziest pumpkins mania?
