Blossom end photo of the 150 sq. ft. pumpkin, I have to say this year i have sprayed more fungicide than any other year growing, heavy rains every week. high humidity and heat in between rain storms is not making thing ez! Thank god and Ron Wallace for products like TKO, Companion Maxx. I don't think my pumpkins would have made it this far with out them.
Also the electric fence is a game changer!! deer have been putting me out of business for the last three seasons and I was about to call it quits for good.

This is my 2021 Sperry x 1944 Connolly, it was pollinated on July 6th and has also grown slow and steady. I am sure with the right attention it would be a monster! long and wide and getting fatter every day! rain gauge says we already have 1/4 " of rain today, predicting 2.5" to come. RI rainfall averages about 41" per year and we are about 10" over that right now. Fingers crossed ! need to get two pumpkin to scale this year to feel good about myself. the lord only knows
