That wasn't 3 dap... That's a cull (cut off pumpkin)from the big plant...i told my buddy it was growing to make him go a little batty with his plant this year(he's not on big pumpkin lookin at how they grow so I get to mess with him a lot )a note to new growers and a refresher for myself... Don't judge your plant by what others look like in the journals ... It will drive you nuts..make you do dumb things ...fert more, water more...Just stick to your gut, yer game plan and it will happen ... Besides, some of these guys are the best in the world at this..somebody last year set at the end of August and hit almost 500lbs...just care for the plant and you will be rewarded....best of luck to everyone this year!!!...grow em big!!!
