With and Without CO2 Enrichment
Both of these plants were stated at the same time and were of comparable size when the selection was made to plant the “chosen one”. However, this shows the impact that the addition of CO2 can have on a plant for just five days.
The plant on the left has received CO2 and the one on the right is of the same age and in the greenhouse, but in the section without CO2 supplementation. The plants are still young enough that there is still minimal chances that root bound is the cause for the size difference.
