Last year (2019) my green squash/pkin plant went down and so did the fruit, it rotted but I saved seeds. Of note is I never sprayed the plant AT ALL all season- no Sevin for bugs, no mildew preventer. I figured this is why the plant/fruit went down. So I tried again this year, 2020, using seed from the downed fruit last year... and I have diligently sprayed for bugs/mildew every 7-10 days. Now I've got weirdness... the plant *was* doing well, nice and healthy and green until August, and now the leaves are mottled yellow. They are flagging in this pic a bit too.
