I took a gamble and went on a extended weekend vacation hoping that my female flowers wouldn’t open until my return. Well I was wrong and they both opened. The one seems to have been pollinated which is good but I now won’t know the genetics for certain. Lesson learned is that next year I need to start 3 weeks earlier so that I don’t have to worry about pollinating during 4th of July .
The one bright spot on my return home was my Russian mammoth has shown her face. This seed was from the seed exchange.
