Back end of the engine on the 2469 Daletas plant will start to get vines terminated over the next 14 days so r until they fill the allotted spot. This plant has 31 secondary vines with 16 on one side and 15 on the other. Secondaries are all about 15 feet before I will terminate them.
As Smallmouth said recently in a post about plant size “we aren’t growing salad” and while that is true, I’d sure like to finally pop a large pumpkin from a large plant but everytime I try, they either explode or underperform. Time will tell and proof will be in the pudding as the 2114 Wallace pumpkin is growing on a much smaller plant at around 400 sq ft and right now has our biggest pumpkin....by far!!
