The kidsī squash had developed a large brown spot on the blossom nub, didnīt look good, but hopefully spotted early enough to save the fruit. In the past I had done that kind of operation a couple of times (with success)...removal of the bad tissue, painting the wound with a dispersion of sulfur in ethanol, finally dusting the wound with some additional sulfur. Fingers crossed!
