I just saw an interesting movie on the Tv. It was called "The Circle". The movie was made in 2017 and it was based on a 2015 book of the same name by Dave Eggers. The movie was very interesting and brought to light a lot of the dilemmas we are now facing with big tech and social media. In 2015 when the book was written it would have likely been considered a science fiction thriller. But in 2022 it really hits home how fast this stuff is changing in our world. Back in 2017 a movie like this would not have seemed very political, but just like everything else these days it most likely would be considered political if it came out today. I recommend this movie as it poses some interesting questions and ideas.
