I've been seeing all of the help that Dave Chan has been getting from his wife in his patch this year, so I asked my wife, Tracey, to help me for a few minutes today. She helped me fold up some greenhouse plastic I had taken down from my greenhouse-inside-the-greenhouse. She also helped me situate a pumpkin on its growing platform. She followed my directions and I patiently let her help. I'm still amazed that nobody raised their voice & nobody cried! I did promise to take her to dinner so she would not have to cook. Maybe it will be a good year for me in the patch!
