The 2064.2 plant is teasing me (don't want to use more aggressive/naughty words right now). Some days ago, I wanted to use the 2064.2 males for pollination. Well, in the morening they were ready, sort of, but there was hardly any pollen attached to the stamen. A day later I opened another male of that plant, same problem. Now the female part is making troubles, too. This morning it was time for pollination. I wasn't sure if that female would open today or the next morning, it looked close to ready the evening before, but not as close as the females on other plants did (in my experience). So, I kept it closed today, and when I checked upon it as soon as I returned from work in the afternoon, it was indeed still closed. Eearly evening, when I wanted to cover it (for pollination the next morning) I found an open flower. Why the heck did it open around 7 p.m.??? Perhaps a sterile plant, we will see.
