Then I let it mix together in the vat for a while and take another sample. As you can see the pH has dropped to 7.2 (anything between 6.8 to 7.2 is good). The other meter shows that it is 100 ppm, which is quite low. I know that my soil is balanced & full of nutrients. Over the course of the next month I will ramp this up to 1500 ppm, as I know that the reserves in the soil will start to be used up. Around the first of August I will replace the 12-4-12 with 0-0-25. That is what I've been feeding. It is not a lot! I rely on getting my soil right before the season begins, and then I supplementing.
