This is my biggest tomato so far in 2025. Growing tomatoes in containers works great for casual gardening but I think the 1.5 cu ft just isn't large enough to grow them large. I grew a sunflower in a 30 gal grow bag this year, but it became root bound capping the height at 12'. The head on the sunflower is 11.5" and its grown 2" in 5 days.
Next year I'll try the tomatoes in grow bags and the sunflowers in the ground, which should yield bigger plants and fruits (heads) all around.
