Finally we have some action in the patch. Stuart's at the big show so two days ago I put in a load of pollinators seeds.
Hopefully I might see some activity later today at 48hrs.
We've been doing this for a few years now and I highly recommend it especially if you're only growing a couple of plants. We get them in a couple of weeks before our main plants to ensure that we have plenty of pollen at pollination. We are just running the main vine and there's no need to bury the nodes.
The reason we put them in is because the first females to pollinate often open before the males which can be a little frustrating.
