I was now thinking about, since I have a 20 x 33 foot patch wether to have the main vine run along the 33 feet and the secondaries 10 on each side or the mail 20 feet and the secondaries 15 on each side.
But then I was thinking of a new vine pattern instead of the classic Christmas tree style so I came up with this: I have the main run 15 feet with secondaries going out on a 45 degree angle so down/horizontal at the 15 foot marker on the main I then have the pumpkin and terminate the vine there then 8 choose the one closest secondary on each side to go up and have the tertiaries coming out like the secondaries on the main and stop the secondaries at ~15 feet. I don't think this has been tested before but it may work any ideas?
