DON'T FREAK OUT! This funkiness appears to be superficial as when I scrape it with a fingernail, the tissue underneath is seemingly normal. All of it is firm and dry. This is at the end of the plant and there are no buried nodes for like 5' in every direction around it so I doubt it's a soil based disease. I have been spraying with peroxide twice a day and other than that I think I have to just cross my fingers that it's just some superficial issue. All thoughts are appreciated.
