I'm disappointed about the plant growth. Although I've always burried vines, watered and fertilized on time, i won't be able to fill out the area I've planed to fill out.
The last secondy before the pumpkin and the secondary on the pumpkins have almost shut down. so no tertiaries, no pitchfork layout:(
My soil is great, I have a lot of sun but the wheater and so the temparatures are often not on point. Since I went „all in" this year an did everything the best i could I've came to a conclusion. If I'll ever grow again with this much effort, then I have to get myself an all season greenhouse. Same effort but wheater, temparatures and winds won't be my main issue anymore.
But I'm more likely to grow only one plant next year + one 150sqf pumpkin. so two in total = less headache when I'm on vacation:)
