First and foremost congratulations to Ron Wallace on breaking 3,000 pounds and ANOTHER world record!
While personally I didn't grow any record breaking pumpkins, and had to harvest my big one 2 months early, overall it was still a good year. These 8 that survived to the end of season each weigh between 300-400 pounds, if you say an average of 350, plus the 925 from August, that comes to 3,725 pounds of pumpkin off one plant. Maybe that's some kind of record? Either way, it's still a nice looking pile of orange.
