Winning is good, its healthy if we are achieving and accomplishing truly great things, but having an addiction to winning... is maybe not so good.
Winning gives a feel good high, hitting the dopamine lever, but if we arent really accomplishing anything great, if we are just idly hitting the dopamine lever without any real reason to do deserve such a reward, then this is the trappings of addictive behavior.
Is your winning be an empty box or maybe even a pandoras box? Just as destructive as any other drug?

In the end, the addiction takes away the ability to truly care. So even when we win, we have defeated ourselves in the process...

All things are relative & need to be kept in perspective.

Its an interesting push and shove: are we going to change the world, or is the world going to change us?

We are a product of our environment & our thoughts & beliefs are shaped by that. But, also, we are also part of the environment of others. So we change the world for others a bit at the same time they are shaping & changing us. All are interdependent on everyone else, to some extent. Much of this has to do with free will & the lack of understanding for all that our Earthly brothers & sisters are going through. We must strive to learn to love all humanity, for they are us & we are them. All of us have been created in the image of God. Winning should not be about individuals, but instead, be about the betterment of mankind as a whole. Too many of us have lost sight of this; or perhaps never even realized it. Politics often seems very close to demonic, with money truly being the root of all evil. I consider both political parties in the US to be corrupt to the extreme.
