Last year I had beautiful pumpkins. This year I will have none. SVB destroyed all my plants, by time I figured out what was happening, it was too late. I was distracted by the rabbits that were actually eating my small pumpkins, the tops of my carrots and a six foot row of peas! Then I chased the gophers and squirrels around as they dragged off my hens and chicks (a flowering plant), and the daffodil bulbs. Last year I no problems like this at all. Now I just have to keep my eyes on my butternut squash!

I am sorry to hear about your plants, it is unfortunatly way too late to start over as you would be just setting fruit in October.

Next year I will be ready for them! I plan on trapping the rabbits and squirrels and transporting them Menomonie. The gophers, well I may have to gas them. And the SVB, that I am still researching. But so far my squash are OK! Yeah!
