I have looked at other people's galleries, and their pumkins are already huge.

My pumkin plant has only started growing it's female flowers. Do I have a chance at growing a mature pumpkin (as in the seeds will grow next year)?

Bluey, you need around 40 days of growth to have a chance for mature seeds - 60+ is ideal. So if you can pollinate some within the next week, and you have nice September weather, you have a chance. Heck you could still grow a good sized one if everything goes perfect.

I think I have a pumpkin!!!!! while I was away for two weeks, the plant size doubled or trippled!!!! and now I have a pumpkin (the female opened before I got home, and I'm guessing it was polinated by the bees)
