I said this on one of the other boards but I'll say it again. I planted Lumina pumpkin seeds about a month ago. Now the plants are sort of small with no vines or flowers. Is there still a chance that I can grow pumpkins by Halloween. If not I'll continue to grow them into November.

Grow them as long as you can. I'm not sure of the exact number of days til maturity, but I'm guessing between 90 and 110 from germination. As soon as you get a good frost they will be done one way or another. If you planted them about a month ago, you have at a minimum 60 more days. That takes you til the middle of October. With good weather you may make it. Good Luck....

I seem to be having good weather this year. If I get flowers by the end of August and if there is a warm september I think I'll make it. If I don't get pumpkins I won't really care because this is my first year growing. Next year I'll know to plant earlier. Thanks!

G'day Aussie, I've posted this before but I planted 2 acres of Mammoth Golds on July 15 a few years back and harvested 2500 pumpkins the first week in October. I realize the climates are a little different but don't give up!! As long as you have growth, you have a chance!! Best of luck
