I have got something going on that i cannot figure out.My leaves are turning yellow on the outer edges.Once this happens the process continues with blotchie yellow spots on the leaf. The outer edges then start to turn brown and they die.I have looked at some sites with pictures of diseases and cannot find exactly what i have.It has been one week since i fertilized so i don't think that is it.I also have been using powder sevin dust.I read on the package that it could burn if the leaves were damp when applied.I don't know if that is the problem or not.Has anyone else had this problem.I could probably post pics if someone is interested.Thanks.

My leaves get wet each day because of the misting system i use to help with wilt during the heat of the day.The sevin would still be on them from the night before when i applied.Did it kill the leaves that you had this problem with?

Be more like a brown burn mark and would be on all the leaves including the new growth. If it's on the older leaves only the plant is just aging. especially if your dusting the holes would brown out not the whole leaf. If it's curling in from the tip and blackish sounds like powdery mildew. are you using daconil or something like that. Chuck

I hoped no one would remember that i said that.LOL.The plant is 90 days old.Thats not too old is it?I do have something that looks like a mildew.I am trying to address that problem now.(I know,i should have addressed this before it happened). But it doesn't look like what i am seeing in the pictures.Live and learn. This first year has been a blast. My blood pressure is out of wack because of these pumpkins.Maybe it will go down this winter.LOL

GOB, Plenty old enough...The leaves from the stump are probably already gone. The older leaves will track down the vine with age. you can follow the main vine by watching the browning of the leaves, It will also go down the older secondaries not a problem...It's a good idea with the heat and humidity to keep daconil on hand and apply every seven to ten days as preventative medicine. Especially if your misting the canopy of the plant is perfect for starting a good fungus outbreak...Keep it growing and Grow em Big! Chuck
