O.K., now that I have female flowers on my vines, how do I keep them from dropping off before they even open? There are tons of female flowers but they die before they mature. Could it be the white blotches on the leaves? There's not a lot but it's enough to bother me. (It almost looks moldy!) If it is then what can I use to get rid of it. My budget is all gone so if there's a "home remedy" I'd appreciate it, otherwise I guess I'm selling a kidney.

Blackthumb, you related to blkcloud? LOL. Sounds like you got Powdery Mildew; you can only deter/prevent it, not really cure it completely, by spraying a fungicide like Daconil. It may slow it down but is best used as preventative maintainence. One of the few home remedies listed is baking soda, I believe somewhere around a teaspoon or 2 per gallon of water--maybe someone else can jump in with the proper amount, as well as its effectiveness, I think the jury is still out on if it really works or not. As for the females dying before opening, it could be anything from temperature, overfertilizing, soil, age, etc. So save your kidney for next season when you need Warrior-T for borers & pests.
