I attempted to grow luminas. Now I have male flowers but I know it is too late. Next year I will know better to plant earlier. I have learned many things about pumpkins. Thanks everyone!

Hi Aussie...I just found this place. I have been in with the experienced growers...I feel more at home here. (: I started mine in April, set out in June and still had no fruit set till the first of August. I do have 8 pumpkins but they will not weigh terribly big I am afraid. I had one weigh 192 pounds last year but doubt if I reach even that weight this year. I half blame all the rain we had in July.
