I split one of my 100+ pound pumpkins for the seed. After drying them out for a few days I cracked a few of them open to find that the seeds didnt mature inside the seed hull.
Has anybody else had this problem?

They say it takes 50 days for seed to mature inside a pumpkin, mine was 52 days or so and they dont look or feel to mature to me after drying out for 5 weeks, try to germinate a few and see what happens! John

This pumpkin was 89 days and had been orange for about a month. You reckon it may have not pollinated good or was it something I done?
