First I would recommend the bible of pumpkin growing. "How to grow world class giant pumpkins I & II" Then sit back and read the postings of other growers for a while. Soon you will understand what an SVB is. That an 846 Calai seed given to you would be a good thing. I have to warn you in advance, you still have time to back out. Once you have the Lingo understood it is to late. Giant Pumpkins are an obcession, can cause stress in a relationship.

Ditto with the ROTFLMAO. I do not understand much of the lingo (if any) and I am hooked. I have the world class pumpkin growing book ll ordered from Veseys seeds and I got a notice from the mailman that it is in....and it would not fit in my mailbox. How big is the durn thing anyway????? I will have to go down to the P.O. and get it tomorrow.

Well I got the book. It is a flat soft covered book. Vesseys had it packed in white styrofoam pieces....as it were an expensive ornament! LOL It is a great book. I am enjoying it already
