My first plant I set out about three weeks ago is growing very slowly and has some small yellow spots on the leaves. It has been rainy and cool all spring, so does it just have a cold? My other two plants are nearly three times the size of the first one.

Around here, our plants need warmer drier soils & some sunnier days than we've lately experienced & they can then begin assimilating the applied & available nitrogen & photosynthesizing it into clorophyl. If the cool wet weather thing is going on in your area like it is here, then patience is the order of the day. Otherwise, Nitrogen &/or Iron can correct the color & growth rate. Just make certain that the weather isn't the cause before trying to correct with applied nutrients or a small problem could get big...Fast.
