I got lucky my double vine went to a triple vine for one node and then split to a single and a double. I cut the double and its doing well. Options wait, watch and hope it will do something similar or start training a secondary to take over for the main. Good luck

my 840 doubled on me early, i just pinched off one of the double ends and now we are back to one main!
if it's a FLAT-VINE then i'd terminate the whole thing and train a secondary as a new main.

Hi! This is Hurb from up-state ny. I have a question. How do you cut a vine, and where do I cut it? Does it repair itself, or do I have to seal it some how?

Straight cuts heal better than jagged ones, so you'll want to use a sharp knife or scissors. A healthy plant should repair itself, but if you're worried about infection, put some fungicide on the fresh cut.
