I have a female flower ready to come out tomorrow. I put a baggie over it until morn. Covered two males also. I have my soft paint brush ready. Anything I need to know? Temps will be in the "70"s near "80". Will I need ice bottles? or will it be ok? Vine is up on platform.

It can't hurt things to be prepared with a couple bags of ice cubes to better your odds of pollination. I did the same last season when we had a very hot early July, and pollination was successful. Best of luck.

What is the ice used for? How is it used?

The ice is for keeping the female cool at the right temp for pollination. Thanks duff.

My female did come out this morning. But it looks like it has tiny seeds on one side of the lobe. does this matter? will this effect it's grouth? Or should I pull it?

Go ahead and do it. It will either take or not. If not it doesn't matter. If someone gives reason to not grow that lady you can always terminate it later. Nothing is very often all 100% perfect.....nothing!

Check and makes sure the insects are not seeds from deformed ovary...if it's insect eggs then the fruit will probably have larva on it before it gets to big...either way doesn't sound promising..Good Luck!
