I have a female at the 8' mark on the main vine that is about the size of a small grape and pea size females at the end of several secondary vines. Should I polinate at 8'? Would it be better to polinate a shock obsorber on the main or one the of the secondaries.

I think that most of us agree that if you have the choice it is better to set your big one on the main and a shock absorber on a secondary..but dont shy away from secondaries because large fruit have been grown on them as well. 8 feet might be a little short..you might want to look at something at least 10 feet but you can always pollinate it for practice if you haven't done so before and cull it when gets between 10-20 pounds.
