I have a main vine thats broken one foot from a pumpkin thats two days old The vine is about twelve feet with runners. I placed a baggie over the end to reduce water loss with rubberbands tied around it. It driped every few seconds. Can my pumpkin still grow even though this happened?

Doug, I'm going to assume your vine broke after the pumpkin. Your pumpkin will continue to grow. If you want to fill in space where main vine was growing into, Take one of last secondaries turn it where main was growing and treat it as new main.
Some growers have intentional cut the vine after the pumpkin helps with stem stress.....Bob
