I think I have a pumpkin set. How do I move it without aborting it? My vine is set for the fruit, but it needs to be moved too the right just alittle.

Be patient! When it is about basketball size, you can move it on a warm afternoon about 1/3 of an inch each day until it is in the proper position. Never try to move it in the morning!

My pumpkin is about an inch thick now, but when I went out this morning to remove the old flower, I noticed the female end had a part broken off on one side. Do you think it will abort? It looks like it's still growing some.

Your talking the lobe I presume. Because if part of the female fruit is falling off it is already aborted. The fruit should be nice and shiny. Not pale and opaque. Even fruit that is not pollinated will grow some before shriveling up and dieing.
