This question is for you Tremor (or anyone else who knows).
I am now the proud owner of a bottle of Immunox and what I am wondering is since this is a systemic is there a need to spray both top and bottoms of the leaves? I'm guessing not but I want to be sure. Thanks! And by the way, we're in a nasty heat wave of 100° days will this be a concern when spraying....I plan to spray in the evening when its cooler or should I wait for cooler weather? PM is in check right now.

Spray both sides anyway. Local Penetrants get inside individual cells where they interfere with the fungus in various ways (respiration, sterol production, etc). But these AGP leaves are thick & infection begins on the bottom of leaves.

Expect the symptoms to worsen for several days after spraying. Recently infected sites are not visible with the naked eye on the day of spraying. So even though the fingicide will likely supress the spread, the infected tissue may still decline a bit in the short term.

Organo Silicone surfactants like Hawkeye or Silwet 77 help a lot but any spreader sticker should perform. Even Ivory dishwashing detergent helps a bit.

Read that label & be safe.

Good growing.

Steve
