I know it has been grown a lot and produced some monsters, I was just wondering if it grows a very aggressive plant sf or if it is more of a compact plant and grows big pumpkins. I was able to get one and I was just trying to plan ahead for the plant size.

I grew one. It was a big plant.Large tall leaves not overly a sprawler but it was aggressive and filled its spot relatively quickly.

From what I hear is the plant is aggressive and the fruit often goes heavy.

I have grown 3 different 2183's. The first one slow, so slow. The 2nd one was an absolute beast, huge plant, aggressive pant and fruit. Was 900 pounds at day 38 before YVD got it. The 3rd one was the same as the second but got destroyed in a wind storm. So 2 out of 3 were fantastic.

Seems proof that all pumpkin seeds within a particular pumpkin have polygenic traits? Hit or miss that a particular seed is going to be an aggressive plant even if another seed has grown aggressively? Feed it some gibberelins, might even see it do the Irish jig!
