Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a project this winter to help organize my season and thought others here might find it useful.

I wanted a better way to track my plant data and research genetics without jumping between different sites and calculators, so I built a web app called PatchLab.

It’s up and running now at patchlab.app
https://patchlab.app

Key features I built in:

• 2025 GPC Formulas: It automatically calculates estimated weights using the new 2025 (Holub) OTT charts.

• Grow Tracker: A simple way to log daily stats, vine measurements, and photos from your phone. You can choose to share your grow with the community or keep it 100% private.

• Genetic Research: I added a "Genetic Matchmaker" and "WR Predictor" to help pick seeds. It connects to your own "My Seeds" inventory, so if a heavy producer appears in the research, it highlights it if you actually own the seed.

• Soil Tools: There is an experimental Soil Amendment calculator to help crunch the numbers for your patch.

• Heavy Analysis: A tool to look for trends in density genetics (normalizing older fruit to the new 2025 chart for fair comparison).

I’m still adding new tools almost daily, so I’d love to get some feedback from the community on what features you'd like to see next.

Thanks for checking it out!

There is this 'AI agronomist':

I havent used it much but these high tech tools will continue to improve. Sonething to consider adding to your toolbox...

Thanks! I'll check it out! I already built my own logic engine into the app that's probably a little more aggressive than what most agronomists might consider safe. I tend to try and push the limits a bit by nature (my nature), lol. I built my logic engine specifically around Atlantic Giant research and data from several of the top competitive growers. After you plug in your soil test data, it will give a recommended list of amendments and amounts and predict soil results after amending. But it's also still customizable to allow entry of your own available fertilizers, limes, and compost. It can save each calculation in your data, and you can also upload and save soil sample results for later access. The user's data is kept private in the app unless you check the box to share with the community. When your done it can produce a nice little PDF report that you can save and print on your computer.

I put way too much time and effort into the soil calculator, lol.. I even sent samples overseas to compare different labs.

But now that I think about it, I probably put just as much time and effort into the genetics, and prediction engines. And the Grow Tracker. I tried to make everything so that it was as usable as possible on a smartphone so I could log everything while in the patch, with pictures, measurements, and way too much deatil.. :)

Thanks! I’ve put lots of snow days into it! It’s still getting new updates and refinements almost every day. I’m open to suggestions also!

I've started posting updates for my PatchLab app in my Grower Diaries, so everyone can see what's new there and interact with the Diary Entries! BTW, Access is free! - Thanks
