Any one ever tried growing in straight veggie compost?

Not a good idea to grow in straight compost. You won't have all the proper nutrients in the proper proportions. Compost can vary according to what material is used. You need to get your soil properly balanced. I get compost from Cedar Rapids that is tested so I know what nutrients I am adding. I get my soil test first, then account for compost and any other nutrients.
