I am starting to put the wheels in motion to get all seeds to the growers down under, with all the rules and changes to the rules, I don't want to wait until the last minute, So if you have seeds destined for these growers please get ahold of me and let me know

Also ALL GROWERS DOWN UNDER
I will send each grower their seeds direct, I have a much better rate for Pyto's ($12.50) and I will go this route as apposed to a distribution once there.
If you are Expecting seeds PLEASE SEND ME THE LIST OF WHAT THEY ATRE AND WHO THEY CAME FROM.
I have about 25 bubbles now and want to make sure nobody or nothing is missed before I get the paper work process going.

I will be send Pumpkins, AG's and field, tomatoes, and a few other seeds from other giants as I should have everything covered to allow these other seeds into your countries

All costs associated will be covered from here, as this is out of the growers control.

Thanks
eddy

Hi eddy, I have spoke with aus customs, and for seed under 2 kg, the mandate testing at one of 2 Australian labs of 20% of seeds. From all I can gather they are not recognising testing done overseas. Any one had a different experience?

This is the approved list for Australia from the Australian government.
Here is where the problem lies if you test there. You will loose 20 % of the seeds, so are they going to test a 2185, 2230, etc etc If I get these tests done here, I don't loose any. The lab I use is affiliated with the Canadian government and they only give me the paper work after its been accepted by the receiving government.
We had to do 4 initial trials for New Zealand before we got it right, and when the Australian government changed their rules we started this process and that was about 6 months ago. I'm not knocking your customs people but they sometimes aren't privy to the full story.
With all that being said, this is one of the reasons I'd like to get rolling, sooner than later. Just in case we have an issue.
As a side note, as long as we have full disclosure as to what they are and what they are for, I have always had the seeds returned without question and with the acknowledgment that they have not been X rays as that can kill the seed.

Also there is a good possibility the rules are going to change again as this was a blanket set of rules and the powers to be are thinking they may exclude hobby seeds.

Again I wouldn't hold my breath because the US government has promised us the same thing and that was about 6 years ago now.

If at any time you ever find any information to make this quicker and simpler, please let me know and I would very much appreciate it

Finally received the last of the seeds so I will not be able to accept any more.
I will get the seeds to the inspector in about 2 weeks as I am leaving early next week and time won't be on my side to get it done any sooner. Will update when inspections are done
