I am wondering why is there no Picture of the Italy WR Pumpkin on the homepage Bp.com?
Is it because of national pride or what is it? :D.

Big pumpkins is not Ken's full time job! He is not going to change the website every time a record is broken. When everything is all said and done, he'll update it with the records he needs to.

I dont think u need to be sorry. It's ok to be excited about the new world record and to want to see it proclaimed loudly. It may not stand long, we might see 2800 next year, so hopefully Ken updates it by the end of this year.
Then Stefano will be get his due recognition as reigning king/ the leader of the pack, and we will have the new target in our sights. (Or in my case, in my sights, but far out beyond my firing range.)

Without question it's the biggest news in 5 years and it's all over the internet.

Yet on the 'bigpumpkins' website, the world leading authority on the subject, there's no mention at all unless you search the message board.

All I have to say on this subject, is I understand about the new WR a tremendous feat. And hats off from the home of the ATLANTIC GIANT. But way back here in the late 1970s and early 1980s when Howard grew WR we still had to wait until some other big contests were done to finally declare he won at the end of the end of season. This new WR will definitely get its due on here with this site and so many. And we will definitely promote it here. Danny Dill

I have said this before. The GPC needs to give Ken some help with this site since it is the defacto "official site" of giant pumpkin growing. He doesn't have the time or money to keep things updated and keep the technology current. The link to the Pumpkin results still says 2020 on it and people are wondering why there are no new pictures posted.
