The PNWGPG silent auction got off to a rocky start and Ken swooped in and help straighten things out. Many, many thanks!
The silent auction is live and features some nice seeds so feel free to check it out.

Great to hear! Ken as always there for the clubs and the growers. It is the "Part N' Parcel" as to who we are.
By the way is Ken in the GPC HALL OF FAME? Haven't been up on that for awhile.

Lee, I am glad to help. I hope your club does well with the silent auction.
Actually, I am not in the GPC Hall of Fame. I did receive the Stephen Jepsen Vine of Honor Award back in 2018. The plaque hangs on the wall in my home office! Steve was an incredible guy and resource to the community. To be associated with "Tremor" will always be an honor.
I am very proud to have helped the Giant Pumpkin growing community over the years. Maybe someday I will make it into the Hall of Fame too!

When he is inducted (not if) I believe he will be the first to be awarded The Vine of Honor and Hall of Fame. Thank you Ken for all you have done and continue to do for this community.

Can someone get this man a seat in the hall of fame? Does a GPC member have to make a movement? The guy literally runs arguably the most important website in the history of kins. The site that gives access to the world to 1501's 1885's 2365's 2731's 2741.5's Ken I appreciate your commitment to keeping this indespensiable resource alive, relevant and creating access for all. You will always be appreciated.

Agreed Berggren, exchange of information and trial and error is the backbone of forward progression with anything. This site is crucial for pumpkin growing for all levels of experience. Clubs contribute a lot, but this is the webbing that holds everything together.

Ken’s dedication and hard work to the website is incredible. Plus the many hours he spends at various weigh each year. Also he is no slouch as a grower!!! But most importantly he is a caring, kind and generous person that I have been fortunate enough to get to know better the past couple of years.

To get into the GPC hall of fame he has to be officially nominated by someone in his region-Northeast. I also think the nomination must be submitted before December 1st. Ask your GPC rep for the exact details. The details are on the GPC website too. I nominated Gary Miller a few years ago & learned it is a bit of a process. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Russ thanks. I imagine it is quite a process and takes time. No doubt someone from the region looking into it hopefully?

Ken no need for any thanks what so ever! It is all of us the vast network of growers from around the globe that owe you the biggest thanks! Ever since you introduced BP back in the day I certainly had no idea what you're objective was or clue for that matter? We all know how quickly and how much you advanced and contributed to get it as to where we are today. Thank you ever so much from the home of the ATLANTIC GIANT! The Dill Family.
