Here is the photo of my 1504 with 3 leaves at transplant (5/18) now it's got seven leaves not fast at all I'm thinking it's the soil sitting around 16 or so (I don't got no meter) it's doing slightly faster now (2 leaves/week) or so but still not great what can I do? Clay is about 10' down but above that good soil I don't think that is the problem though I've seen growers with clay 1 ft deep griw 2500 pounders https://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=359710

Wait. Calm down, and wait. Do what you can, learn what you can, make notes of everything that happens, do some more research, and just understand youre not going to have a record plant the first year. Theres a pretty long learning curve growing these things. My fist year i only grew 200 pounds. Took me 7 years to get 1000.
