I've got a really nice plant going, the main vine is probably around 14 feet and growing well. The problem is, I have no female flowers. None on the main, none on side vines. None period. Any idea how to jump start this so they start forming? Alan

For what it's worth, I used a bloom blaster 0-20-20 on just about everything once the plants were established, seemed to work here.

I give up!.... no female flowers have I. My plant is super big though! Alan, did you get any females? If so, did you do something to get them? I don't think there are going to be very many gourds this year over 120" with the weather and lack of females on plants. Later, John

Hey John, yes I did. I rooted around and found one that opened on the 8th. A few more formed and opened a week later. It currently sits at 51 inches, but the later ones never pollinated. So, I'm hedging my bets on one gourd.
