            | Little Ketchup | Grittyville, WA | I have an LG set at maybe 8 ft that I want to keep. A bit too low to the ground. Can I build a wood trough for it to lay in (maybe lined with a cotton sheet) and grow it out at a 30 degree angle rather than digging a hole? Thanks. | 8/12/2022 10:33:36 AM |

            | Porkchop | Central NY | Yup… I’d wait as long as you can before putting in on the board though so it gets going straight…sprinkle bone meal down the chute, it’ll slide easier. | 8/12/2022 1:14:44 PM |

            | Little Ketchup | Grittyville, WA | Smart thanks. Although, my rat would call that dinner plus dessert so I'll try something besides bone meal... I have the healthiest rat you ever saw. Im sure it thinks it died and went to heaven. Hopefully it thinks that one more time. | 8/12/2022 2:22:15 PM |

            | frostbite | I. Falls, Minn | I put a 2x4 at an angle and screw a plastic rain gutter on top of it. It seems to slide easy and helps keep it straight. | 8/13/2022 7:17:13 AM |

            | frostbite | I. Falls, Minn | Don't do it. It worked well up to 100". At 108" it started to swell and got stuck in the gutter. I tried to remove it and put it on a 2x6, and broke it. A fitting end to a bad year. | 8/24/2022 7:06:17 AM |

            | Little Ketchup | Grittyville, WA | Sorry to hear. I am trying this:

If needed, I will put a cotton sheet between the gourd and the garden fencing. The good news is I can hopefully tie it all the way up to the ridge beam and haul it to the weigh off. Thanks...
