Hi I hear some growers ttrim every other secondary vines on main vine. On each side of vine. This helps air flow and helps energy go towards main pumpkin. Is this true and does any one out here do this?. Thought. Thanks
Richard

In my opinion never do this. Save all your secondaries prior to the pumpkin the more the better to support a big root machine that has to feed your pumpkin. I would not worry about air flow. I like a tight plant better as it crowds out the sunlight preventing weeds to grow which are a big pain to any grower!
