I planted them and they are different than the other common giant varieties that are known to grow big. I planted big max pumpkins and the giant field pumpkins.             | pumpkinpal2 | Syracuse, NY | I love the grey markings/patterning and hope to see it soon on my 6-#37FPs (116 Grunert X Sib); They are thus far doing very well after only a week into aged horse manure on the surface, not even tilled in, lol---the ONE that came up directly-seeded is now in last place - the other 5 were sprouted in Jiffy mix with double Mycorrhizae (one cup now into 12 dry quarts, birthday cake-moist) and also planted out with the same mixture. Just seedlings still, but soon to be famous! Ahem - eg
