The Giant Pumpkin Festival returns in its full glory the first weekend of October: Saturday October 2nd with the Weigh Off, and Sunday, October 3rd features the World-Famous Pumpkin Regatta & $30K in prize money.
Saturday morning Grower’s Breakfast! Folks who pre-register are automatically signed up for the Grower’s Breakfast – A delicious feast provided by our friends and partners at the Pride of Laguna Lions Club.
We are seeking Volunteers! Do you want to get more involved in the Weigh Off? Eager to make 2021 our best year yet? Send me an email or give me a call! We’re looking for help with loading and unloading pumpkins, judging, pumpkin entertainment, and storytellers. Volunteers are also welcome at the Grower’s Breakfast!

Coming SOON! Official registration and event information will be posted to our website, yourcsd.com.

Your Gourdesses are BACK! The Team is back for 2021, your experienced data tent and scorekeepers are ready to calculate the winners and cut checks!

We are excited to hear from our Future Farmers especially! If you have a Future Farmer who might want to get involved with the weigh off, we are seeking youth volunteers as well as adult.

BIGGEST Local Prize yet for the largest pumpkin grown in Sacramento County, details COMING SOON!
New this year! A Pumpkin and Produce Petting Zoo. Providing kids of all ages the opportunity to touch, take pictures with and learn more about the fruits of your labor. We need folks who are willing to donate their large produce or pumpkin (to be returned so growers can harvest the seeds) to be a part of this immersive educational experience. We also need experienced growers who are willing to talk to the public about how these giant fruits come to fruition.
