I haven't harvested bushel gourd seeds before. I know it wont be hard but any thing I should consider before? And just dry like pumpkin seeds?

Drying is the same as pumpkin seeds. Brown seeds are mature. Expect to harvest around 300+ seeds. The fun part in extracting the seeds is cutting/scraping the whale blubber-like flesh around the seeds.

I like to wait to get them. Let the flesh loosen up a bit, maybe even start to rot. Sometime in November I will get my seeds.
